Fancy a relaxed stroll through the gardens, a family afternoon out or somewhere calm to sit with a coffee? Victoria Park is one of the most loved green spaces in Widnes, and we’re pleased to welcome dogs at both our indoor and outdoor seating, making us a firm favourite with local dog walkers.

Set in the heart of Widnes, Victoria Park is a Green Flag award-winning park and has been named among the UK’s top ten favourite parks. It’s an ideal spot for a day out with the family, with well-kept gardens, flower beds and mature trees framing views across the ornamental lake.

There’s genuinely something for everyone here. Younger visitors can burn off energy at the playground and splash pad, while the skate park, bowling greens and tennis courts give older children and adults plenty to do. A wildlife-filled woodland area sits nearby too, perfect for spotting birds, squirrels and other creatures on a quiet wander.

Our deli sits directly opposite the historic bandstand, and our second parlour is positioned right beside the children’s playground and splash pad — handy whether you’re settling in for the afternoon or grabbing a treat mid-visit

Getting here is easy. We’re located directly opposite Widnes Train Station, and although there’s no parking inside the park itself, free parking is available on Fairfield Road and Lockett Road. Once you’ve explored the park, Esposito’s is right here to look after you.

Here at Esposito’s Deli in Fairfield Rd, Victoria Park, we serve modern English-Italian food prepared fresh each day by our own Halton-based kitchen team, including artisan toasted sandwiches, authentic Italian coffee and a range of gelato ice cream flavours. We’re also a well-known Widnes cake shop, with homemade bakes and sweet treats to enjoy in or take away.

We’re proud of the warm, inclusive atmosphere we’ve built, and we’re happy to cater for all dietary requirements, just have a word with a member of our team, who will be glad to help. You’ll find us on Fairfield Road at Victoria Park, open seven days a week, 9 am to 5 pm.
