The journey of the Esposito family into the world of gelato sales started back in 1974, with Angelo Esposito’s arrival in UK from Calabria in Italy. He created Mr. Angelo Ice Cream and a fleet of ice cream vans followed. Fast forward to 1999 and Angelo’s son, Daniel, founded his own company, Esposito’s Ice Cream. Over time, the company’s fleet of ice cream vans grew, and the business naturally evolved. At the helm of Esposito’s Ice Cream now stand Daniel and his wife, Lisa. With a fresh new identity, we have undergone a rebranding, setting the stage for the creation of modern and contemporary coffee shops and ice cream parlours. These delightful havens allow people to immerse themselves in the acclaimed Esposito’s experience.

Today, we have four coffee shops located in Widnes, Runcorn, Kirkby and Huyton. The coffee shops are all set within parks and public spaces and offer a variety of homemade gelato, homemade cakes and artisan toasted sandwiches. Our delicious gelato collection mixes the classic flavours of vanilla, rich chocolate and Italian strawberry with our unique flavours, such as salted toffee, kookie caramel, blue raspberry and many more! We always use fresh, high-quality ingredients in our homemade sandwiches, cakes and gelato and we always brew tasty, authentic Italian coffee. We also offer milkshakes, healthy smoothies and protein based meal deals for when you are exercising in the park.

We are excited to offer our gelato trikes for hire, which serves homemade Italian gelato across the Northwest of England. Our gelato trikes is the perfect way to add a touch of fun and excitement to any party or event. We regularly cater for corporate events, media productions, summer fayre, weddings and birthdays. We can also create custom gelato trikes packages to suit your specific needs.

In addition to our coffee shops and gelato trikes, Espositos also offers corporate catering.
